SENIOR ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Argentino Fiore Law & Advocacy, LLC is seeking an SENIOR ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY to join our growing law practice.  We have a non-traditional and trauma-informed practice focused on family law, education law, and LGBTQ+ rights.

Counsel or of-Counsel relationship(s) will also be considered for the right individual/circumstances.

An appropriate candidate for this position will be an established attorney with active family law case load in either NY or NJ.  Attorneys associated with our firm must be open-minded, compassionate, detail oriented, and dedicated to social justice.  Dual NJ/NY bar admission (or ability to become admitted to both) is ideal. Given that the firm is trauma-informed, a mental health background is helpful as well, but not required.

We provide a competitive salary and commissions package, fully paid medical/dental insurance for employee, and a generous PTO structure. 401k contribution with employer matching will be available in 2021. This position will be remote for at least the next 6 months.

CLIENT SUPPORT PARALEGAL

Argentino Fiore Law & Advocacy, LLC is seeking to add another CLIENT SUPPORT PARALEGAL to our growing law practice. We have a non-traditional and trauma-informed practice focused on family law, education law, and LGBTQ+ rights.

An appropriate candidate for this position should be open-minded, personable, compassionate and detail oriented. They should, ideally, have a mental health background as well as experience working in a legal office.  Given the nature of our firm, this position includes providing paralegal type support for our attorneys as well as working directly with clients to support them through the legal process. While it’s not a requirement for this position, we would love to have another team member who is bilingual in English and Spanish to be able to better serve our clients who primarily speak Spanish.

ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Argentino Fiore Law & Advocacy, LLC is seeking an ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY to join our growing law practice. We have a non-traditional and trauma-informed practice focused on family law, education law, and LGBTQ+ rights.

An appropriate candidate for this position should have completed a judicial clerkship in family division (or with a higher court).  They will be open-minded, personable, compassionate and detail oriented. While it’s not a requirement for this position, wae would love to have an associate who is bilingual in English and Spanish to be able to better serve our clients who primarily speak Spanish.  We practice in both NJ and NY so dual bar admission is a plus, but NJ admission is required.

ASSISTANT TO DIRECTOR OF MARKETING & OPERATIONS

Argentino Fiore Law & Advocacy, LLC is seeking an ASSISTANT TO DIRECTOR OF MARKETING & OPERATIONS. We have a non-traditional and trauma-informed practice focused on family law, education law, and LGBTQ+ rights.

This individual will support our Director of Marketing & Operations in law firm planning, daily and long-term operations, marketing efforts, and monitoring progress. This assistant will also be working to enhance productivity and ensure compliance with rules and regulations. Applicants must be well versed in Marketing functions like communications, creating speaker presentations, brand and graphics design, as well as operations management and be competent in assuming delegated duties, creating reports and maintaining event scheduling. Applicant must be a leader and critical thinker, ready to solve challenges before they become obstacles.

LEGAL SECRETARY

Argentino Fiore Law & Advocacy, LLC is seeking an experienced LEGAL SECRETARY to join our growing law practice. We have a non-traditional and trauma-informed practice focused on family law, education law, and LGBTQ+ rights.

This position is for an experienced legal secretary. It will be a remote position for approx. 6 months and will then be in our Montclair, NJ main office. This team member will work on our Case Management Team under the direct supervision of our Supervising Paralegal and will be performing case-related administrative tasks. 

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Scanning, labeling and saving/uploading documents
  • Receiving and sending correspondence
  • Calendaring (case related and non-case related)
  • Compiling submissions/applications
  • Keeping charts/spreadsheets of data on various projects
  • Entering data in our case management system
  • Electronic and paper filing (if accessible)
  • Fielding and making phone calls

Candidate requirements:

  • Open-mindedness required
  • Good computer skills are required
  • Legal secretarial experience required
  • Familiarity with Office365 Suite preferred
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Must be able to take initiative
  • Must be a team player
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus!
